FREE showing of the movie, Unplanned...

posted Mar 14, 2019, 11:04 AM by Mary Rosenbeck

The Petersburg Respect Life Committee is hosting a FREE showing of the movie Unplanned on Thursday, March 28 at 7 PM. We do NOT know yet whether the movie will be shown in New Bremen or one of the Piqua Mall theaters. To claim your free tickets, please call either Carol Steinke (419-236-8580) or Darla Dietz (937-693-2753) ASAP! You can only order tickets for your immediate family (those living in your household). We have a very limited number of tickets so they will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. We anticipate more requests than we have tickets, so we will create a "waiting list". Please, if you cannot use your tickets after asking for them, please let us know ASAP so we can offer them to the next person on the waiting list. We want a FULL theater!!

Unplanned is based on the life changing true story of Abby Johnson who worked for Planned Parenthood, until what she saw changed everything. iTunes:

USED RELIGIOUS BOOKS

posted Mar 30, 2015, 6:40 AM by Mary Rosenbeck

Do you have good religious books that you have read & would like to pass on to others?  If so, you may place them in the container in the north east corner of the Immaculate Conception basement.  The books will be checked for good content & then placed on the bookshelves next to the container.  The books will not be catalogued, nor will there be any checkout system.  Parishioners are free to choose books to read & then, pass them on or return them.  Parents of young children, take note that there is a bench near the bookcase for those times when you need to take your children out of Mass.  There is also a speaker above the bench so that you can still participate in the Mass.  If you have any questions, please call Joyce Platfoot (693-6251).
